Usually, dogs have up to ten puppies. Even this is considered exaggerated. But Louise Clément’s pet, Nelly, surprised everyone. This Dalmatian dog was able to successfully carry and give birth to 18 babies.
Nellie, now three years old, raises ten boys and eight girls. The delivery lasted several hours, but all the babies survived. The owners thought that there would be 15 puppies, because after the appearance of the fifteenth be bé, the exhausted dog just went to bed.
It was the first time such an incident had occurred in Clement’s house. And the family has been raising Dalmatians for more than three decades. Today, 27 dogs of this breed live in Louise’s yard.
Fortunately, the area of the house and plot is enough for the animals to have a place to run and frolic. Slides and a street house were specially built for dogs. Some animals love it so much that they sleep in it.
At 46, Louise realizes that she will not be able to take care of so many dogs. She plans to sell 17 puppies and keep one of Nelly’s children for herself in memory of this unusual event.
