Cultured and fine, many cats are the portrait of sophistication. They appreciate all the beautiful things that life has to offer and often know the value of classical music.
Classical violinist Esther Abrami does her part to help cats refine this sense of refinement and style through her work with kittens.
The little ones she welcomes come to her home through La Feline Meyreuillaise, a rescue group in the south of the France. As Esther told Love Meow,
«When they have too many cats to take care of, I offer to help them as a foster family.» Le chaton roux apprécie les bonnes choses, y compris les concertos privés pour violon
As a violinist, Esther has to devote hours of practice to her craft as well as travel, and her career leaves no time for a cat of her own.
By adopting a foster family, she gets the feline time she so badly needs, which we all know is good for humans, and she helps kittens grow big and strong for eternal homes.
One of her adoptive kittens showed a very fine ear for music and never missed any of her adoptive mother’s performances.
Even though it was just workouts, Petit Rose was still there. Le chaton roux apprécie les bonnes choses, y compris les concertos privés pour violon
A kitten with an adorable ear for music
An orange tabby kitten with a perfect pink nose and matching beans, Petit Rose, which translates to «Little Pink,» came to Esther barely two months old.
Even though he was small, he was sure to be a big fan of hugs. The red kitten appreciates good things, including private violin concertos
«This cat was abandoned by its former owners who could not bother to take care of the kittens. La Féline welcomed them and found host families to take care of them,» says Esther.
Little Rose was a fan of Esther from the beginning. Even before he discovered his violin. «From the beginning, he was very cuddly and wanted to nap with me.
Once more comfortable, he followed me in all the rooms, including the one where I practice my violin.
At first, he was puzzled by the violin. But after hearing the beautiful music Esther made with the instrument, Petit Rose became very captivated.
