Puppy best friends greet each other with a hug every time they see each other

Often, when children grow up living on the same street as each other, they become friends and visit each other’s homes for play dates, writes ilovemydogsomuch

Since they are neighbors and see each other often, they usually form a close bond. But that’s not just the case for human children — it just so happens to be the same situation for those furry neighbors.

Simba, a mini Goldendoodle, and Cooper, a Havanese, are neighbors and best friends. Simba is owned by Roberto Couto, of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, who told Newsweek that Simba and Cooper walk with their families’ children.

They have become completely inseparable, and when the two are separated, Simba sometimes escapes from his garden just to visit Cooper.

The adorable duo have been best friends since they were young puppies, when their families had them around the same time. They are always so happy to see each other and greet each other in the sweetest way.

During one of their meetings, Couto snapped a photo of the friendly couple hugging. They are both standing on their hind legs with their front legs curled around each other in the most human pose.

Couto posted the heartwarming photo to the “Dogspotting Society” Facebook group, where it quickly went viral with more than 11,000 likes. It was also posted on Twitter, where it amassed over 300,000 likes.

This was not a one-time event. Best furry friends greet each other with the same warm hug almost every time they see each other. They absolutely adore each other and are lucky to live so close.

Now that’s what friendship is! Now we just have to hope none of their family members ever decide to move out!
