Have you ever wondered what a true act of love means? Perhaps for some people it is about giving something material; For others, it means spending time with that special someone without giving or receiving anything in return.
But, there are few people who, when thinking about having an act of love, the beneficiary is someone other than their family circle, or their close friends.
Certainly, while homeless people or stray dogs can move us and leave us with a heavy heart, we seldom really decide to act. And they simply need an act of love to change their lives forever.

Unfortunately, there are still a large number of children living on the streets who spend their days wandering from one place to another performing miracles in order to find something to eat.
Recently, the photo of a homeless little boy sleeping hugging his puppy, who has become his faithful companion and only family, has gone viral.
Users on the networks demand the intervention of the Department of protection for minors immediately
The sad images reveal two little beings, so different, but both vulnerable.
Unfortunately, his helpless condition does not seem to worry anyone, since there are many who pass by him, indifferent, unaware that there are two bodies on the ground that are crying out to be rescued.
Or perhaps it is that they simply did not want to realize it, or look beyond their noses.
The boy has not yet been identified, and it is not known whether he was orphaned or abandoned by his parents.
So far it is only known that he sleeps with his pet on the sidewalk near the central train station in Manila, Philippines.
This little boy, despite everything that has happened, has not abandoned his puppy, demonstrating his great bond and the true meaning of love.
The photos were captured by Jem Villomo, a young man who lives near the city and shared them on his Facebook account in the hope of raising awareness and getting someone to give them all the help they deserve. In this regard he comments:
«The boy lives on the street together with his dog. He does not ask for money but food for both of them.
Sadly, stories like these are repeated throughout history. Let’s remember Rommen Quemenales, another boy of only 11 years old who lives on the streets and also found the greatest comfort from him in a puppy.
These stories cannot but cause us indignation and a lack of sensitivity to act and give these children, along with their pets, the life they deserve.
Although the Department of Social Welfare and Development is the entity that should look after minors in the Philippines, no major changes have been seen to date.
Rommen Quemenales is also from the Philippines, he only has his dog Badgi.
The greatest certainty is that this child has a puppy as his only family, together they sleep in each other’s arms hoping to wake up and find someone who will change their lives.
They only have each other revealing the most sincere love that is reciprocated despite the difficult situation in which they find themselves.
