Jesse raised two cubs: his puppy and an adopted kitten. Every day the dog had to look for food for three, which was very difficult.
The puppy and kitten had a good appetite, they ate whatever Jesse could find, and she had to stay half starved.
The children were very friendly with each other. The puppy hugged the kitten, fearing it might freeze. When Jesse went to get some food, the kids ran alongside each other.
People loved the kitten and the puppy, so they were often dealt with. The puppy would beg for food, sit in front of the person and raise a paw. And they gave it to him. Jesse didn’t understand how he had thought of this.
People couldn’t refuse a poor dog, but it was summer. What to do in winter? Jesse couldn’t imagine. She loved her children very much, but she would like someone from the people to take them home.
However, no one has yet had such a desire. Jesse kept going to places full of people. She left the kitten and puppy in a prominent place, while she stepped aside so as not to be in the way.
And one time a man called the puppy and he ran after him. So they left together. And Jesse and the kitten watched them go. Jesse moaned softly, but knew she had done the right thing.
The kitten is rubbing against its paws, no one probably would take it. The two will therefore have to spend the winter.
