Not all heroes wear capes, but the kindness in their hearts and that of this 10-year-old boy seems endless. For his boundless love for animals, Brady Snakovsky of Strongsville, Ohio managed to raise more than $315,000 – money he used to provide bulletproof vests for K9 agents.

It all started two years ago, after the little guy watched an episode of the Live PD show with his mother. At the time, our hero was surprised to discover that police dogs are not automatically equipped with bulletproof vests as a dog handler, even though they also risk their lives.

An unacceptable thing for an 8-year-old, so Brady knew he had to do something. So he created a GoFundMe page with the aim of proving the appropriate equipment for loyal four-legged officers.

Soon after, Brady was already buying the first vests for the Ohio State Troopers K9. Since that moment, the good-hearted boy has been one hundred percent involved in his mission.

He began attending local events to make his voice heard. What’s more, he even wrote to a local congressman asking for help.

«I want to be a police officer because I want to keep people safe,» Brady said at the time. «Because it’s really important for these dogs, who save lives, that they are also safe.»

Not so long ago, this little hero created Brady’s K9 Fund, a non-profit organization that raises money to buy bulletproof vests for K9s and military dogs. Thanks to his dedication, Brady has managed to raise over $315,000 so far. That means vests for 257 dogs!
